But according to several reddit posts, these days might be coming to an end – sooner than later. Intel’s Pentium G3220 and the Pentium G3258 Anniversary editions provided light on the pocket solutions for many gamers out there. Gaming so far has been good to those on a budget. The number of threadsĔ = Logical processorsĭual core CPU's are not supported by Far Cry 4 The number of coresĔ = Physical processors Minimum supported Intel CPU is a QUAD CORE This game also will black screen on launch if you do not have a supported vid card If you need specs on the rest of my system just let me know.īuy and install a supported CPU your G3258 = a dual core i dont know what i could have bin doing wrong though i followed everything 20 times over.Ĭan someone please help me i really want to play this game. I have followed these links/videos to try and fix this issueīut they didnt work for me or i wasnt doing something right.

note the game DOES NOT crash when it goes to black screen it jsut sits there

noone should say "well its a dual core issue you just need to upgrade" no its not just a dual core issue because people with 4 and 6 cores have had the same issue as me. i can run GTAV AND FarCry PRIMAL on high with no problem farcry4 should be able to play just fine. but i refuse to believe that this game will NOT work on my system. I have tried MANY differant things to resolve my issue and non worked so far. i AM running a DUAL CORE intel pentium that is unlocked and over clockable (i dont have overclocking on it though) - here is a link to look at it if u need - (just copy and paste if it doesnt work)

I have a black screen on startup of this game.
